The Death Penalty in Saudi Arabia

The European Centre for Democracy and Human Rights is releasing its new Infographic on the death penalty in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is one of the most prolific executioners in the world, placing itself third in the ranking, with an increasing number of death sentences every year. So far, the Saudi government has executed 135 in 2015 alone.

This new Infographic illustrates the cases of Ali Mohammed al Nimer and other minor offenders sentenced to death by the Saudi government, highlighting the international reactions to this serious and widespread issue.
